Statistical and narrative reports to the New York State Department of Education. Reports include information about facilities, equipment and supplies, and teachers' salaries. Census schedules with the names and ages of all school age children in the district with the names of their parents are available for some districts for the years 1857-1879, 1893, and 1896-1904. This series includes some records from school districts for Westchester towns annexed to the Bronx and for some school districts located in Putnam County. The years for which reports are available varies by municipality, however, there are no reports available from the 1880s for any municipality. Records of the Court which heard criminal cases between 1664 and 1895. Cases heard by the court include assault, murder, rape, fraud, treason, illegal voting, gambling and matters involving the Overseers of the Poor (public charges, manumission and bastardy). Included are lists of jurors, jury foremen and Justices of the Peace. These records do not usually include testimony.

Testimony is not included, although infrequently within the Criminal Division minutes there are Grand Jury reports, such as one on the duties of the county coroner included in Liber 4 of the Criminal Division minutes. A few of the later books have their own indexes by name of plaintiff or defendant; otherwise the minutes are not indexed. Supreme Court case files themselves are available from the Archives.

Documentation demonstrating that a potential tavern, hotel or innkeeper agreed to pay a fee of fifty pounds or 125 dollars if he violated any of the conditions of tavern operation. Such conditions required that the keeper maintain a moral and orderly business and refrain from sponsoring any sort of gambling (from cock-fighting to card games).
